Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipsticks

Hello there!
Today I will be reviewing the Rimmel London Lasting Finish lipsticks. They come in 17 gorgeous shades out of which I own 2; Heart Breaker (016) and Alarm (170).

What the company has to sayHigh colour impact for up to 8 hours wear. Colour that turns heads ! Intense long lasting colour up to 8 hours +25% colour impact ! Smooth creamy texture for comfortable wear all day long

My take on these beauties: These lipsticks come in a sturdy, deep purple packaging. The mid has a silver band with 'RIMMEL' written on it and the cap has a crown engraved on it (which I find to be pretty cute :P). The lid is safe and won't come off when carried around in a bag. I have travelled with these lipsticks multiple times without encountering any trouble. The bullet contains 4 grams of product.

Alarm is a bright yet muted red suitable for all skin tones. You can never go wrong with this red be it any day of the year. It gives a comfortable wear as it isn't too bright or too dark. It is just perfect. It's also a close dupe for MAC's Ruby Woo. However, I prefer Alarm for my daily wear due to it's moisturizing power.

Heart Breaker is a mix of fuschia and raspberry pink. It is the ultimate pink for summers and winters both. And again, it is a pink suitable for all skin tones.

Both of these are everyday wear colours and universals (in their colour departments :P). They glide smoothly like butter (application isn't a struggle) but transfer easily as the colours come off very intense after one swipe. I find the colour transferring to my teeth and chin (what!?) easily after application so what I like to do is blot off with a tissue paper to get a more subtle colour, suitable for everyday wear, and to make it more smudge-proof. These lipsticks have never lasted me EIGHT hours as the company claims, only three, four hours MAXIMUM, and that too without eating or drinking. The colour fades away evenly leaving behind a beautiful stain but at this point the lips start feeling slightly dry. It is time to re-apply! The lipsticks have a very mild, fruity scent to them but that should not be an issue as the scent becomes non-existent after application.

Both these shades are a must-buy! Would I repurchase? YES!! The entire collection is easily available all across Pakistan at the price of approximately 900 Rs. The price will vary from store to store.
