Hello girls!
How's the summer heat and humidity treating you, and most importantly, your hair, this year?
Big bottles of sarson ka teil (mustard oil), olive oil, roghn-e-badaam (almond oil), coconut oil, and what not have always been around in our households for ages, and as our elders would tell us; they definitely are our hair's best friend.

Today I am going to share with you a little tip for your hair that involves a twist. Coconut oil with a dash of castor oil. Yes, that's the secret ingredient. You will have your hair growing faster and thicker in no time.
All you have to do is mix coconut oil (Parachute or CBC, preferably) and castor oil (Marhaba) in a 2:1 ratio approximately and apply this mixture to your hair as you would do with any other oil. Give yourself a nice hair oil massage and let the mixture sit in for a minimum of 30 minutes. I personally prefer to leave it in overnight so the castor oil has ample time to do its magic. The choice is yours!
Coconut oil and castor oil when mixed, amplify the goodness of each other. This is excellent for hair growth, mission elimination dandruff, for shiny silky hair and for sealing split ends. It is food for the scalp as well as for the hair!
Once you're done treating your hair, make sure you wash out the mixture well. Or else you will be left with an oily scalp!
P.S. Remember to use a shower cap to cover your hair with. You don't want to ruin those pillow covers!
But if I have a shower cap on. How will I wash out the stuff :l
