Lush Lip Scrub

Hello lovelies! 

I have two incredibly yummy products up for review today. They are the lip scrubs from lush in the flavours Santa's and Mint Julips. If you are a lip junkie like me then these lip scrubs are a must have as they are a divine treat for the lips! 

Santa's is a very sweet cola candy flavour with a touch of cherry. Unfortunately, it is a limited edition flavour and was gifted to me by a dear cousin when it was out around christmas. Mint Julips, on the other hand, is a scrumptious blend of chocolate and mint. It is like After Eight in a jar! (I'm crazy about anything mint-chocolaty :P). Both the scrubs feel refreshingly yummy on the lips.

These scrubs are super easy to use. All you have to do is take a small amount on you finger and rub all over your lips till your lips feel smooth and supple. But don't over-scrub as the lips are a delicate area. After you're done scrubbing, simply lick off the excess (yes, it is okay to consume a teeeny, tiny amount) or wipe your lips clean using a slightly damp washcloth. Apply a lip balm after drying your lips.

The application can be a slightly messy process as some of the product falls off the lips while rubbing. Apart from that, the consistency is absolutely perfect. It is just the right balance of castor sugar and oils. I've never been able to perfect the ratio of sugar to base while making DIY lip scrubs, so this product is definitely a blessing.

I scrub my lips daily, at night, to remove all the stubborn lipstick I've applied during the day. The castor sugar and oils come together to make the lips feel soft and clean instantly. Lip care is just as important as skin care so make sure you get rid of all those chemicals from your lips before sleeping by scrubbing properly!
